2023 Week 11 Fantasy Football Power Rankings

At this point in the season, the actual power rankings are pretty set in stone. That being said, I won't dedicate too much time here to the actual power rankings. Rather, I'll break down all the trades so far this season while I give my power rankings. I'll give every trade a calculated "Impact Quotient" that incorporates the ADP, value above replacement, points per week, general position depth, keeper value, team depth, and net wins/losses. The score ranges from -37 (being the worst thing you can realistically do for your team) and +37 (being the best realistic thing you could do). Also please keep in mind the scale is logarithmic, so differences in Impact Quotient are not linear. Well that's enough on the scale - without further ado, here are the power rankings:

10. Stone

9th for Najee Harris | Impact Quotient: -8.74
This trade must hurt for Bone. Najee, who has been horrible this year and was way overdrafted, suddenly starts to be good upon leaving Bone's team. And only getting a 9th for your originally 2nd round pick is pretty rough. Stone's team needs all the help it can get (if he's to avoid the punishment) so this trade's a rough one.

9. Perry

David Montgomery and an 8th for a 6th | Impact Quotient: +28.34
This is one of Perry's best trades. Yes he may miss that 6th rounder next year, but David Montgomery has been electric when healthy.

DK Metcalf, James Cook, and Jahmyr Gibbs for Tyreek Hill and Rachaad White | Impact Quotient: -31.76
This has been a league shattering trade, and potentially season shattering trade for Perry. Tyreek Hill has been one of the best players in fantasy this year and Perry did not get that much in return. Yes he got some decent depth, but Gibbs for several weeks was incredibly disappointing, DK Metcalf has been not good, and Cook has been very boom bust.

6th and a 12th for Kyle Pitts and a 10th | Impact Quotient: +5.76
Not a super impactful trade, but with how bad Kyle Pitts has been, it's a slightly beneficial one for Perry to get his 6th rounder back.

6th for Breece Hall and an 11th | Impact Quotient: -14.89
Yes a 6th round pick next year helps, but Breece Hall has been great lately.

Rachaad White and a 7th for Jahmyr Gibbs and a 9th | Impact Quotient: -12.76
Another tough trade for Perry as he got rid of Gibbs just as Gibbs decided to start being good. Rachaad White has had some good weeks, but only for a 2 pick upgrade, not sure it was worth it.

Emari Demarcado, an 8th, and a 13th for an 8th and a 12th | Impact Quotient: -1.34
Perry gave up practically nothing but still has received nothing except a lost roster spot here.

8. Ethan

DJ Moore and De'Andre Swift for Darren Waller, Deebo Samuel, and Deon Jackson | Impact Quotient: +17.65
If Eth had kept Swift, this would've been one of the best trades all season. He gave up Deebo and two bums for one of the leagues best RBs and a serviceable WR.

Michael Thomas and a 10th for Christian Kirk and an 8th | Impact Quotient: -9.82
Kirk after his first week dud has been incredibly consistent while Mike Thomas has struggled along with the rest of the Saints offense. The fact that Eth actually lost draft capital with this trade just hurts.

Kyle Pitts and a 10th for a 6th and a 12th | Impact Quotient: -5.43
It's tough to give up picks for someone who doesn't score more than 10 most weeks or 13 ever.

Koo for Jason Sanders and an 11th | Impact Quotient: +2.09
Even though giving up draft picks for a kicker seems foolish, I don't hate this trade. Koo's been pretty darn good for a kicker, and an 11th isn't that brutal to give up.

13th and 14th for 13th and 14th | Impact Quotient: +/-0.00
Eth and Nate are collectively stupid for making this zero impact trade.

Tank Dell for Devonta Smith | Impact Quotient: +4.19
Tank Dell could be really good for Eth if he keeps up this production. The main reason this trade is positive right now for Eth is because Devonta was on bye so Eth got an extra week of production out of Dell, who also could be a great keeper target.

Jerome Ford, Chris Olave, and (3) 8ths for Alvin Kamara, Georg Pickens, and (3) 10ths | Impact Quotient: +27.54
This trade was exactly what Eth needed - good depth in a solid receiver and RB who get a ton of volume as well as draft capital. We'll see how this turns out for Eth and Nate in the long term, but for now it looks pretty good for Ethan.

7. Bryce

Harrison Butker for Younghoe Koo | Impact Quotient: -3.73
Not a huge impact trading a kicker for a kicker, but kind of hurts to trade for a worse kicker.

Elijah Mitchell for an 11th | Impact Quotient: +2.00
While it was a for sure thing that CMC would have a season ending injury early and having Mitchell would save Bryce, CMC has stayed remarkably healthy by his standards. All this has let Mitchell have virtually no impact for Bryce. But it's a good handcuff (even though Jordan Mason showed some promise) and only giving up an 11th is worth it.

6. Jacob

Aaron Jones, Deebo Samuel, and Deon Jackson for Chris Olave and DeAndre Swift | Impact Quotient: -18.73
This was the first trade that landed Luft in "Running Back Hell". Deon Jackson did nothing, Aaron Jones has been so injury prone and has really only delivered one amazing week. Deebo has been solid but not nearly as explosive as last year. For how solid Chris Olave has been and what a rockstar Swift has been, this has to be one of the usually shrewd Luft's worst trades in years.

Dameon Pierce and an 11th for Tyjae Spears and an 8th | Impact Quotient: -4.98
This has been another letdown of a trade for Luft. While Tyjae Spears has definitely not lived up to the hype (and was subsequently cut from Tim's team), Dameon Pierce was a suspect trade target at best. The fact that Luft gave up (a little) draft capital to get him too just hurts more.

5. Erik

6th for David Montgomery and an 8th | Impact Quotient: -18.10
While I don't blame Erik for making this early season trade (when there were doubts of Monty's long term impact), only a two pick upgrade for a guy who's been very good when healthy (and seems to have the ability to go nuclear any given week) doesn't seem like the best trade in hindsight. With how Erik's team has been, it would've been nice to at least get a serviceable player for Montgomery and an 8th, or sell out on tanking and get a higher pick.

Christian Kirk for Jerome Ford | Impact Quotient: +9.88
This was a trade that turned out very well for Erik (so far). Ford has battle injuries and inconsistent QB play while Kirk has exploded into consistent scoring. A very simple trade, but an effective one nonetheless.

4. Tim

Tyjae Spears and an 8th for Dameon Pierce and an 11th | Impact Quotient: +3.70
Same deal with Luft, two disappointing RBs but at least Tim got a draft pick upgrade here (even if it is a small one).

Adam Theilin, a 3rd and an 11th for Justin Jefferson, an 8th and a 9th | Impact Quotient: +34.45
In perhaps the biggest blockbuster trade of the year, Tim shipped off this year's 1.01 pick for a 3rd rounder and a bum receiver. Oh wait, Adam Theilin has sneakily been a top-10 WR this year and delivered multiple 20+ pt outings for Tim. And with Kirko getting injured, we'll have to wait and see how consistent JJ is when he gets back. Either way, having an extra 3rd rounder next year is huge for Tim. We'll have to see what the final impact of this trade is, as Tim could regret trading away JJ as he tries to make a playoff push, but for now it looks like he won big.

Najee Harris for a 9th | Impact Quotient: +21.20
When Tim made this trade, he was mocked (as he should've been, as Najee is buns). But somehow, Tim had some insider information that Najee was planning on becoming good again, and he's been a really solid addition to Tim's team. In a year like 2023 where everyone is starved for good RB play, only giving up a 9th is a steal for Tim.

Devonta Smith for Tank Dell | Impact Quotient: -1.37
We'll see what the impact of this trade is for Tim. I don't know if either WR is a great play most weeks (due to boom-bust tendencies) but as long as AJ Brown is healthy, I have concerns about the upside of Smitty. He's a great WR and can have amazing weeks, but Ethan definitely got the higher potential (long term) player.

3. Alex

Alex has made no trades, and hasn't really needed to as he has a super solid team (although they can be boom-bust at times.)

2. Paxton

Breece Hall and an 11th for a 6th | Impact Quotient: +19.43
While a 6th round pick is nothing to scoff at, getting a solid RB for a 5-pick downgrade is a steal. Breece has picked it back up in the back half of the season and Paxton is really reaping the benefits.

Jason Sanders and an 11th for Harrison Butker | Impact Quotient: +0.91
Getting an 11th for a kicker swap is a steal, even if the kicker you get is not great. Unfortunately, it doesn't really make a huge long-term difference or anything.

An 11th for Elijah Mitchell | Impact Quotient: +4.32
Again, an 11th doesn't really mean a whole lot. But Elijah Mitchell was doing nothing but taking up a roster spot on Paxton's bench, so this is still a win for him. (Unless CMC gets injured, that is.)

1. Nate

Chris Olave and Darren Waller for Aaron Jones and DJ Moore | Impact Quotient: +9.89
While this trade isn't a super trade for Nate considering neither Olave nor Waller are currently on his team, he was able to get some good value out of this trade. Olave was very consistent for the most part, and Waller had a few good weeks of play (but more bad ones). This isn't usually how you'd describe a big win, but when you look at Aaron Jones and DJ Moore most weeks, Nate was good to jump ship on those two NFC North offenses. Aside from the one absolutely nuclear week, DJ Moore has been a WR2 at best (equivalent to Olave) and Aaron Jones has been too injury prone (equivalent to Waller).

Christian Kirk and an 8th for Michael Thomas and a 10th | Impact Quotient: +17.99
Getting rid of Michael Thomas and getting draft capital and a consistently good WR? That's a good trade for Nate.

Tyreek Hill and Rachaad White for DK Metcalf, James Cook, and Jahmyr Gibbs | Impact Quotient: +32.79
While getting rid of Jahmyr Gibbs and James Cook was risky, getting Tyreek has made Nate's season. This trade requires no further explanation as in hindsight it's clear how one-sided it was.

Jahmyr Gibbs and a 9th for Rachaad White and a 7th | Impact Quotient: +15.11
After making this trade, Perry asked "Why?" Gibbs' performance the last several weeks speaks for why. White hasn't been horrible, and Nate did give up draft capital, but for the most part this was a very good trade for him.

Jerome Ford for Christian Kirk | Impact Quotient: -10.04
While injuries are hard to predict, it should've been predicted that Kirk would continue to be a consistent WR2. Ford has been solid, but the Browns offense has been very hard to trust this year.

13th and 14th for 13th and 14th | Impact Quotient: -0.01
Moron gang trade.

12th and 8th for Emari Demarcado, 8th, and 13th | Impact Quotient: +0.03
While Nate did feel good after making this trade (he was going to cut Demarcado), it has little to no impact.

Alvin Kamara, George Pickens, (3) 10ths for Jerome Ford, Chris Olave, and (3) 8ths | Impact Quotient: -5.95
Time will tell how this trade turns out. Nate did need a really consistent RB, but we'll see if the injury to Carr increases Kamara's or Olave's usage. Right now, since he gave up draft capital, this trade is a slight loss for Nate.
