Engineering

As a kid, I really enjoyed building things (LEGOs, Bionicles, K'NEX, etc.). As a result, when I was in high school and had no clue with what I wanted to do, I was pushed into engineering. I was not a fan of my AP Chemistry class but really enjoyed my AP Physics class, so I majored in Mechanical Engineering. Four years later, I graduated with my mechanical engineering degree and started working at an MEP (Mechanical, Electric, and Plumbing) consultant as a Mechanical Designer. I currently work to design HVAC systems for new and renovated buildings.

But even though mechanical engineering is my career, I like to do a lot of fun technical projects on the side, as evidenced by this website, which I coded myself. Most of my "fun" "engineering" work tends to be outside of mechanical engineering (and more in the computer science realm). This page showcases a few of my engineering-adjacent projects I've done.

Disclaimer: I am not yet a licensed professional engineer. I am not claiming legal competency in any of the areas of engineering displayed on this page, and take no responsibility for any results of acting on any of my ideas.

What do you think of these engineering projects?

If you take exception or agree wholeheartedly (or anywhere in between those two extremes) with my work and want to let me know how much of an idiot or genius I am, please let me know! I look forward to hearing from you!
